  4. Kinda surprised the guys haven’t put up anything here - in the last week they’ve had mentions in the AP and WashPost, and I’ve got to believe that’s driving some traffic. Doesn’t look great when the company blog hasn’t been updated in six weeks.

  5. As slack13 said: It doesent look to good when the blog is so badly maintained. Popcuts even showed up at the biggest newspaper in Norway - and even though it’s a small country, they will get thousands of hits through that article.

But maybe the guys behind this is only looking for some easy made cash - can’t blame them actually, but they will soon loose me as a user if i don’t see any improvements (badly needed) on the site and update to the blog.

    I give’m two more weeeks…

  6. Honestly, I didn’t know anyone actually could find their way to the blog, given that it’s a tiny link at the bottom of the page.

We just moved the whole company back to California, and are working to bring up some exciting new features for Popcuts (and fixing some perennial bugs in the system). We’re also negotiating for new music from content distributors. Those should be coming soon as well.

In the mean time, if you have any feedback about the site (those badly needed improvements, for example), feel free to send them to feedback@popcuts or even to me (yiming@popcuts), and we’ll have that taken care of.

Stay tuned, guys. Believe me, the music space isn’t something you do a startup in unless you really love it :)

  7. hehe - people tend to click every link they find - when a product is promising ;)

I got my “response” withing the 14 days - so no need for me to complain anymore then :)

I actually have a few ideas/tips regarding improvements, and i’ll stitch them together and hand them over in an e-mail to you @yiming.

Nice to see things “happening” around here - gl with everything coming up :)
